It was supposed to be rainy so I made some lemon balm tea and sat by my living room window. I drew and painted all day. Someone on Reddit asked for their portrait to be drawn- but for an album cover. I drew one up with my faber castell water color pencils. It’s weird using black as a water color. But I did it anyway. I posted my drawing and took a nap. I woke up and was bored of laying around so I drove to the next town over to do a bit of shopping. A handle of kettle and a bottle of patron silver later I was home again. I started up dinner; browned some Wagyu ground beef and used the last box of Valentine’s Day heart shaped pastas to make some spaghetti. I checked Reddit while I was waiting for the meat and the pasta to do their things. I got 3 awards and 240 upvotes for my drawing. Lots of nice things were said. The op actually chose someone else’s drawing, that’s what I get for doing free art ha. I also had another thought; I feel like you could tell when age group everyone was in by this post. I’m a millennial and my drawing was def reminiscent of that. The one that op liked was def Gen Z. Still good though.
